Hi! My name is Derek Hu and I'm a senior at Amador Valley High School. I love topics like economics, because learning new ideas, understanding their relationships, and bringing them together is a lot of fun. With SnapCivics, I hope to connect economics to policy-making and politics.

Outside of that, I love analyzing and interpreting art-- from paintings, to movies, to books. My favorite guilty pleasure is playing Tetris to waste time. :/
